Hello.
I’ve been using the EZ drummer 2 demo in Reaper and have just purchased it as my trial ran out. I opened a REAPER project and received the following message;
“The following effects were in the project file and are not available. REAPER will keep their configurations, but things may not sound as desired.
Track 12: VSTi: EZdrummer Demo (Toontrack) (32 out)”
When I open the FX tab EZdrummer is greyed out and it says;
“The following effect plug-in could not be loaded:
VSTi: EZdrummer Demo (Toontrack) (32 out)
(effect configuration is preserved)”
Now my new authorised purchase version works fine and I can open it up. However, as i’m adding it as a new FX it doesn’t have any of the drums I had programmed. Is there any way to open the Demo version FX chain/somehow reroute it to the purchased version? or are my drums lost forever? I’ve been using it pretty extensively during the trial due to COVID lockdown and will lose a lot of work if I cant 🙁
