Live setup for TD27 + EZDrummer 3

I have a Roland VAD506 with TD27 module. I run MIDI from the module to Mac (EZD3) and then out to Scarlett SOLO. I’ve also tried running MIDI back to the TD27 module and then routing the sound directly from TD27 to PA, but the sound is not great.

What am I missing? Are there settings in EZD3 and/or the TD27 that I need to disable before running to the PA? TIA

Yes.

I currently run this configuration and it works perfectly.

TD27 to MacBook Pro M3>computer to Focusrite Solo>Solo to small Alto mixer>mixer to powered Alto mains and EV subs.
