I’ve linked almost all of my MIDI folders, and all is well with most. However, several folders of files have either 100, 114, 133 or 205 bars. They’re listed this way on the Groove Tab, and this carries over when dragged to the song creator. The files are all between 2-4 bars prior to being linked.
I’ve added these files to my other main drum VI, Addictive Drums 2, and did not have this problem. All the files remain 2-4 bars.
Any ideas why this is happening? Might it be something in the naming? Is there anything that determines the length of grooves in SD3 aside from the actual length of the groove?
Thanks!

Upping for some feedback.

Just linked the BFD grooves I got with BFD 1.5 way back. Same thing with many of the grooves. Magic number with these is 42 bars.
With all these MIDI In map templates, I can’t be the only one that’s linked grooves and had this problem.

BFD 1.5 grooves had some metadata inside them, which could easily be misinterpreted.

I’ll be adding the BFD grooves to Addictive Drums 2. I’ll see if the inflated bar issue carries over there.
But the problem 1st arose when linking some Loop Loft grooves. And I have no problems with those in AD2.
The Loop Loft problem is not affecting as many grooves. A little time over several days and I should be able to manually fix these. But BFD had a LOT of grooves, and many of them are affected. I’m not up to manually addressing those.

AD2 might be ignoring certain aspects of the metadata, where SD3 is not, perhaps due to certain data that it is looking for that it uses for its groove engine.
