Hi there
Is it possible to change the individual levels of the hihat. I find the open ones are often a little unnaturally loud.
PS I am aware that I can work around this to some extend but I would rather have it set up “in-the-box”.

There is a Property box for each kit piece that allows for adjusting the level.

Hi again
First, sorry about the imprecise headline, it is now corrected, spelling control is not always your friend 🙂
Now to the subject, I am aware of that control. I mean individual layers. I find that some open hihats are louder than I would ideally wish them to be. Is there a way to change this so ie closed hit can get a little louder or a open hit a little lower. Not by velocity but by level.
At the moment I do it like I would on live drummer, I route the hat to a fader and adjust it. I just thought that, since these are samples, there maybe would be a way to do this internally in the program.

Yes. From the link to the manual above:
“Level Property Box can also apply to the entire selected instrument or to only the articulation if a specific articulation is chosen in the Articulation List.”
So, you can select the open articulation only and turn it down specifically. You can’t, however, adjust the volume of individual samples within that articulation pool, only the articulation group.
