Launchkey not connecting with EZ Keys

I bought a Launch Key Mini to use with EZ  Keys.

1. Plugged into computer USB
2. Did the “Get Started”
3. In EZ Keys settings, set the MIDI device to Launch Key Mini

After all of that, not able to play anything in EZ Keys. Any answers for this? Maybe I skipped a step?

Operating system: Windows 10

Thank you for the reply. I should have added that I did click “Any” for MIDI Channel.

It has worked before but every time I go to use it again, everything acts like it is the first time. I don’t know why.
