EZmix is a VST/AU/RTAS plugin. It is launched in your host workstation. How to do that depends on the host you are using. Please take some time to fill in your system specs if you require more specific instructions.

I’ve never heard of Audacity. Does it load VST plugins?

Yes, I’ve just learned that “Audacity” (poor mans pro-tools), is compatible! … Now, I need to figure out how to “launch” the product,
and insert ??? into the right folders to get the product ready for use. Most importantly also, to get the “dialog box” to pop up so I can
authorize it.
I’m using windows 7, Audacity – Digital Audio Editor, which is compatible with vst plugins.
Well, since I’m totally unfamiliar with Audacity, the best bet would be the Audacity manual on how to load a VST plugins on a channel in the mixer.

How can I help you with EZmix? I’m not Audacity support.

OK Scott, How about this? To the best of your knowledge, can you give me an idea of what items, ie: dll.file, compessed zip file, a 64 bit installer, a folder named toon track, etc.?
Which of these items would be necessary to put in the plugins folder?
I guess I have to get the right components in the plugins folder, before the “authorization dialog box” will pop up.
By default, EZmix.dll will install to C:Program Files (x86)VstPlugIns. If Audacity creates a VST folder when installed, you can do a custom install of EZmix and set the install path to that location. I would not recommend manually moving the .dll as it will break any future EZmix updates.
The 64-bit version is irrelevant as Audacity isn’t a 64-bit host AFAIK.
The authorization box will pop up the first time you load EZmix in your host.

You need to have a little patience as I’ve never heard of Audacity either I’m afraid.
Is there a mixer section where you find channel inserts or fx?
In Logic you click and hold on a channel insert, then a list of fx plug-ins appears. You choose EZMix. Then as EZmix launches for the first time an authorization window pops up.

I just figured it all out. And I have it installed. Tell the Swedes I said Thanks.
