Latin perc wont play properly I downloaded it and installed it and it comes up on the list of kits when I open EZ drummer in Cubase 7 and the other drums play in any selected pattern e.g. cymbals and things, but the latin percussion is missing – can anyone help, p
I’m confused. Does the Latin Perc EZX come up on the list of kits or is it missing. You’re saying it does both.

Hi
Yes it comes up in the list but the picture isn’t of the latin kit and when you choose a latin pattern , like congas , pattern the conga perc is missing but kicks and cymbals and things can be heard.
Thanks for replying
Ken
Can you post a pic of EZdrummer with the Latin Percussion EZX loaded?

Can you post a bigger pic? I can’t see anything.

You have Pop/rock loaded , you need to load the latin percussion EZX into EzDrummer for use with this midi.
No, if you look to the left of the EZdrummer screen you will see that its ‘Latin percussion’ that is loaded and the patterns are things like congas and conga grooves. Its just that the latin instruments (like conga) don’t play in the grooves and you cant see congas etc in the picture at the back that shows the kit.
Your EZdrummer screen clearly shows ‘EZX POP/ROCK’ high up in the
middle of the window.

No, you have selected a Latin Percussion MIDI file but have the Pop/Rock kit loaded. At the top center of EZdrummer (where yours reads ‘Pop/Rock’) is a drop down menu where you select a kit. You have quite a few EZX packs already. You have never loaded the kits from this menu before?

Wow no, but I get it now – I have been missing out a lot in not loading the right kit – you have been so helpful thank you. I authorized all the kits but the jazz kit which I have is not visible on the toontrack website and so there is no serial number to authorize it. Do you have any idea how I can fix that.
Thanks a million
Did you purchase the Jazz EZX from the Toontrack Webshop or some other place? Do you have a DVD? If so, does it have a serial number on it to register?

Hi yes I have the box and used the code – thanks so much Scott for your help, EZdrummer sounds just great and, not surprisingly much better than before.
Thanks so much
