I was using EZmix for a while and didn’t have any issue… until now.
I downloaded the latest update, 2.1.1, and started the application. Everything started normal, the installer started removing the old files…and then stopped, gave me an error saying “Error 1316. The specified account already exists.”, leaving me without the old version and not installing the new one. All this in the middle of a project.
Hi,
can you please try uninstalling EZmix 2 and then run the latest update again?

Thanks for the answer. Tried, but after the new installer removing the files, there are no leftovers, no application and no uninstall. Still, when I try to install I get same error.
Can you please attach a screenshot of the error and provide some more details such your OS platform and DAW?
Can you also try downloading the EZMix2 installer again?
Assuming you are on some flavour Windows. Does EZMix show up in add/remove programs, or is it completely gone from there too?

Thank everyone for all the suggestions and support.
I run Windows 7. EZmix was gone from the add/remove programs too. Revo Uninstaller Pro couldn’t find any traces of the program, no empty folders, no registries. I personally checked in Program Files/Toontrack and the very folder was gone.
I was running a registry cleaner (CCleaner), after that problem still persisted. Ran Revo Uninstaller Pro, directed to force uninstall EZmix 32bit and all related stuff (some Superior Drummer dll files, some other folders deep into Program Data…etc). Managed to salvage the preset packs. Now EZmix 64bit latest update installed, it recognize the preset packs. Strangely, Superior Drummer seems to work just fine.
