Latency problem EZ mix

Hi all hope someone can HELP.
I am running my guitar through my boss br 800 into my pc and not being able to get the sound I wanted I thought I would try EZ mix guitar effects but for some reason I seem to get the clean guitar sound then the effect sound from EZ mix after like a split second delay and being a noob to plugins my pea brain cant work it out

Hi,

I am not familiar with your hardware but I know some audio interfaces have some type of ‘Mix’ knob between the direct signal and the ‘wet’ signal returning from your computer – EZmix Standalone or DAW.
Make sure you have lowered the buffer as much as you can without getting break-ups in the audio. If you’re using EZmix standalone, this is done in ‘Settings > Audio Setup’.
