    Hi,

please check the buffer size in Settings > Audio/MIDI setup. You want the buffer size to be as small as possible, without getting audio break-up or crackles, when you are live-triggering.

Also make sure your audio hardware’s drivers are updated and selected in the Audio/MIDI setup.

    BR,
    John

    Hello John,

Thank you so much for the quick response. I’ll try this tonight.

Are you referring to the buffer size in EZ Drummer or the DAW?

He is when using EZD2 in Standalone mode.
Your DAW controls Buffer when using EZD2 in your DAW.

    John,

I changed the Buffer Size to 64. I think that improved things a little bit. Still pretty bad though.

Forgive my ignorance. I have the Pre Sonus 1810C . I assume that is my Audio Hardware?

I’ve found a place that talks about an update and offers a driver update for the 1810C. It’s called ROCKET DRIVERS.

I dont know much abut this stuff, I’m pretty new. I’m trying to find out more on PreSonus site. No luck yet. I would think I should try to get it directly from them.

Are you using wireless headphones? Or anything wireless in your workflow? If not, can you screencap your settings?
