Lag of 3 beats between Cubase and EZBass playheads

I always have a lag of 3 beats in the chord and grid editor of ezbass. Compared to the cubase playhead the EZBass playhead is 3 beats in front. This makes the use of the ezbass editors impossible. When I set the ezbass play head to the correct position it jumps 3 beats ahead as soon as I press play in cubase.

I’ve just noticed, that I have the same issue in Superior Drummer 3. Any advice?

EZbass version: 1.0.5
Operating system: Windows 10

Are you using plugins that causes a lot of latency in the project (like mastering plugins that adds around 50 ms or similar)?

Is it the same if you start a fresh project in Cubase, add EZbass, and try it there?

Is it any difference if you lower your Buffer Size for the audio drivers in Cubase settings?
