    Hi,

I can’t say I’ve seen this, though my main DAW isn’t Logic. Have you tried to ‘Reset & Rescan’ EZDrummer 2 in the Logic Plug-In Manager?

Do I understand you correctly that this is visually only and not sound-wise?

    BR,

    John

    Maybe this can help: https://www.admiralbumblebee.com/general/2018/10/09/Retina-Issues-One-Quick-Fix.html

In Logic you may also get a bit better performance if you deselect the track that has EZdrummer – select an empty track for example.

Thank you for your reply Olof however my display is not retina.

    Thank you John.

This is a visual lag/jitter within the audio unit version of the plugin.

It is present in the Audio Unit versions hosted in BOTH Logic Pro 10.4.5 and Studio One 4.5.

In Studio One you can test both the VST version and the Audio Unit version.

The VST version is fine in both Cubase 10.0.30 and Studio One 4.5.

    My OS is High Sierra.

Quick videos I created to demonstrate the issue:

    Hi James,

I probably don’t use the EZdrummer 2 Song Track that much these days when I have the SD3 Song Track to work with and especially not so with the AU version, which can explain not noticing that behaviour. I can see now what you mean when I run the AU version of EZdrummer 2 in Logic Pro, regardless of which monitor I use, there’s kind of a jitter of the playhead but no lagging. SD3 AU does not have the same jitter of the playhead on the Song Track.
Whether it’s something that can be done about and when, I leave to the coders but I have made a note internally for them that I see this as well.
