Lag in aux-effects

    Check the latency setting on your sound device and set it to a lower setting. The lower the setting, the less latency. But, the lower the setting, the more taxing it is on your computer.

    Yeah I’ll try the latency setting business. But are aux effects not supposed to be used as line effects? As the line effects work fine without lag.

    Any of the effects can be used anywhere.

    What is your signal path? How are you routing things in your DAW? What latency setting are you using? Are you using ASIO drivers for your audio devise?

    Any specific presets you are using so I can try them with my setup?

    Well, they can be used anywhere but the Aux effects are not meant to be used in the same places as Insert effects (directly in the normal channels). They are often 100% wet and have no dry/wet control. See what Mattias writes about “AUX VS. INSERT” here: https://www.toontrack.com/product/ambient-reverbs-ezmix-pack/

    It’s a good idea to search on youtube for some video explaining how to use aux/send effects in your DAW.
