Hi,
Sorry for my ignorance but I’ve just bought a bunch of EZmix packs like ambient delay and reverb etc and I’ve got an issue with AUX-effects lagging or not reacting until like at least half a second after hitting midi keyboard. I’ve read that the aux-effects are meant to be used for “sending” and not directly in the channel, I don’t know this stuff very well as I’ve always just added effects directly in the channel. So is this why there is a major delay in sound?
I’m trying to figure out how to “send” effects as we speak but I’m not really having any luck quite yet. Might have to youtube this shiznit.
Check the latency setting on your sound device and set it to a lower setting. The lower the setting, the less latency. But, the lower the setting, the more taxing it is on your computer.

Yeah I’ll try the latency setting business. But are aux effects not supposed to be used as line effects? As the line effects work fine without lag.
Any of the effects can be used anywhere.
What is your signal path? How are you routing things in your DAW? What latency setting are you using? Are you using ASIO drivers for your audio devise?
Any specific presets you are using so I can try them with my setup?

Well, they can be used anywhere but the Aux effects are not meant to be used in the same places as Insert effects (directly in the normal channels). They are often 100% wet and have no dry/wet control. See what Mattias writes about “AUX VS. INSERT” here: https://www.toontrack.com/product/ambient-reverbs-ezmix-pack/
It’s a good idea to search on youtube for some video explaining how to use aux/send effects in your DAW.
