Lag and Noise using using USB MIDI Triggers

I bought EZDrummer2 so that I could play live with Alesis DM-10 MKii Studio as Triggers. However, I get lag (about 15ms showing (although it feels like more)) when playing the drums. I see guys touting it on Youtube and making it look easy, but I am having difficulty.

Also, when I switch to any of the other kits like metal for example, I get tons of noise, skipping, and missed triggering issues. Adding samples makes playing in real time even more difficult as it adds more lag which is completely unnatural.

I’m using the USB MIDI Cable into a USB 3.0 port. I am using ASIO4All which helped greatly, but not enough.

My laptop has a solid state drive, and I’m using 8GB of Ram.

Seems the weakest link is my integrated soundcard (Realtek HD Audio)

MY QUESTION IS: What affordable sound card upgrade can I add to my setup to get this working properly?
