It is not possible to select kit from the top drop-down menu anymore? You have to click the little down arrow on one of the instruments, then select from the Kit menu to select another kit? While I love the rest of EZD2, this feels like a step backwards.
I think it would be a better implementation to select a kit preset from the top menu like before, and then select a mixer preset from a separate down-list menu on the Mixer tab.
And how do you save/load custom kits? And where are the custom kits saved with EZD1?
The dropdown menu at the top of the EZdrummer 2 interface is a combo of kit pieces and mixer preset. When you select one, there are kit pieces selected as well as a mixer preset. If you then want to keep the mixer settings (effects loaded) and change the kit, you use the dropdown menu in the kit piece selector.
If you’re in standalone mode, you can save a kit from the File->Save menu. This gets saved as an .ezdp file. If you’re in your DAW, you can save the plugin settings there.
