Keyboard shortcuts not working when using SD3 as plugin in Logic Pro X?

Hi all!

Whenever I use SD3 as plugin within my daw, when I want to delete a note pressing backspace, it deletes the entire track with the plugin on it!

same for the other shortcuts….. please tell me there’s a workaround?

Hi,

Please go to Settings > Keyboard Shortcuts and make sure that “Enable keyboard shortcuts in DAWs” is checked. Then it should work – if you have clicked inside the SD3 GUI before.

However, on Apple silicon Macs, Logic Pro has an issue that after a plug-in has been resized, the plug-in can not get keyboard focus anymore, until you close and reopen the window.

thanks for the reply, that last part might be the problem. As i work with my laptop connected to a display I have to resize quite frequently. will try if it works after closing/reopening the window thanks!
