For instance, I’ve stacked the specific sidestick articulation on the snare. I like how it sounds and want to keep it while trying out different kits, so I want only the sidestick articulation to be constant and not change while I do my swaps.
Is there a way to achieve this?
I think this is something I wanted as well but found to not really be possible in SD in its current form. Perhaps someone will have a more definitive answer.
But if I recall, the closest is assigning an articulation (note #) in the eDrums settings and hoping that as you switch to the next kit, it will still sound consistent with the previous kit, and not something completely unrelated. Let’s see what others have to say…. if its definitely not doable, then I would love to see TT develop this feature for us who use SD3 with eDrums.

Superior Drummer 3 version: 3.3.6
Operating system: Windows 10
You can already swap out kits and kit pieces and the stacked articulations will remain in place. Perhaps, you are confusing kits with user presets, which you would have to click on the down arrow beside the preset and select “Select Parts…”. When the parts dialog box appears, you would select the “Load only drum kit” checkbox. Your stacked articulations should remain in place when you load the preset parts.
