Bought EZ drummer 3. Installed, updated etc. Running with NUX dm-7. Updated NUX drivers. Set settings in audio mapping, tried aligning midi numbers but cannot get edrums to trigger any sound when played. Very frustrating. Any help to noy make me feel like i wasted $200. Thanks.
Hi,
do you get sound when clicking the drums in the EZD3 interface?
Does your MIDI device have a check mark in the MIDI device list in EZD3 Audio/MIDI Settings?
Which MIDI Preset are you using?

Hey, my apologies for the delay response I did finally get it working. I originally was running through a USB to MIDI cable that I was running into a NUX-DM7. I believe because the new X brand is a little more obscure that’s for whatever reason the MIDI cable to USB wasn’t working correctly so I switched it over to a USB to USB midi?… and got it to work. I’m having a little bit of a latency issue but I’ve know that’s just sort of what happens I guess I’m trying to figure out some solutions for that. Also and I think this is just a common occurrence with my electronic drum brand the choke capabilities don’t work on the symbols but other than that it’s wonderful. I appreciate your response and if I have any more issues I will gladly slide them across to you. I’m also looking into possibly upgrading my laptop I don’t know that that will necessarily relieve any of the latency issues I don’t exactly know how to do that but I will get online and do some research.
Not to take up too much of your time but if you had any suggestions as far as possibly relieving some of the latency. I have so far done the obvious and messed around with the quality of the sound being run in and out to reduce some of the milliseconds of latency and I’ve got it basically down as far as I can go and still have quality sound I didn’t know if there was something else I could do? I’m at work right now so when I do get home I’ll fire it up and kind of look at the settings and probably send you a picture you feel like giving me some advice I’d appreciate it.
Hi,
do you have a separate audio interface or is the DM7 your audio interface as well?
How low can you go with the Buffer size and at which sample rate?
