I can relate. Never had ez drummer but every other day I find new things I can do.

What I found helpful is just digging in. Set an idea and try to make it happen. You’ll find things along the way that solves the issues that come up and learn SD3.

I had a good month of ok drums till I took the time to dig in and I’m still discovering …

It is a fantastic software dont get me wrong but  I have been watching videos and tutorials and there are so many things that I dont understand. Its really incredible how deep this software is and the vast array of options that it has but it feels extremely overwhelming!! I am a musician and I have been using ez drummer for 8 years and it just was not enough for me recently so I decided to get superior. How did you all learn this software?? there are so many engineering terms that I dont get!!! ugh.

Might be a good place to start. Don’t worry about asking questions here, chances are you’re not the only one asking, so try and use the search function at the top of this page. Type in what you want to find out (ignore the “no product found” popup if you get it), hit enter or the magnifying glass, then select the “Forum posts” tab.
