I’ve been disappointed with the Jazz Expansion pack ever since I’ve purchased it back when it came out! I think it’s a big joke and I’m not a drummer but I could program drums better on jazz beats than what Toontrack has done! Come on guys, spend a little more time with the jazz developement beats! The drummer who played on this pack doesn’t even sound like a jazz drummer! Jazz is not just free form but it can be highly organized with many different styles! For example swing which starts of with basic 8 bar measures etc. Then you have bebop styles that take swing and double time the basic swing style. I didn’t hear any of this in the Jazz Expansion Pack. Toontrack, you are not into Jazz as much as you are into Rock! Hire a expert on Jazz drumming! Some one who has experience playing with big bands (I arrange for big bands and combos)! I have some big band arrangements that I’ve done in Cubase and Sonar and I couldn’t even use the Jazz Expansion Pack on just a basic swing arrangement. I had to use some Sonar drums that I re-arranged for my arrangements. What a waste!
