Hi,

there’s no option for installing a 16bit version of the Sound Libraries but you can install the Basic part and skip Surround and Additional Bleed to save disk space.

Hi,

I am sorry but are you confusing the 16 bit RAM loading mode with what is actually stored on your drive?
There are not 2 versions of the library installed, the SD3 engine can bit reduce on-the-fly to decrease memory footprint but the original samples are actually 24-bit.

I always thought that the 16bit and 24bit sample files were installed on the hard disk!
When needed, select 16BIT on the interface to save memory!
