Issue in the Key Signature Editor

Hello everyone,

I noticed a problem in the “key signature editor”. To change the key, all is well, it transposes.
On the other hand when I change the key in “no transpose”, it does the transposition anyway.

Well, I hope I can help the technical team, thank you for this extraordinary product.

Hi! That indeed sounds like a bug.

However, I cannot replicate it. In Key Signature Editor, if I change a key using the ‘No Transpose’ options then my MIDI and chords remain the same.

Do you have a project file that we could look into where using ‘No Transpose’ still transposes your MIDI/Chords?

Thank you for your fast answer!

I send you the test I did.

I explain:

• I add Standard Groove 2 times
• I go to 3 bars > “Key signature Editor…” (not “Key”. that ok here) > at bar 9, I create a new key with “+Add Key Signature Change”
• If I change for E key (for exemple), Ezkey transpose chords. Correct. But If I select “No Transpose > E key : Ezkey transpose chords again…

So sad, Anton…

Thanks for the how-to, Fred. Still, I cannot replicate the bug you have described.

It should now be possible to upload project files from EZkeys 2. Our forum had not been updated to allow these. Try again. 🙂

I can replicate the bug! Indeed, in your version of EZkeys 2, the ‘No Transpose’ menu in Key Signature Editor does not work as it should.

This bug will be fixed in an upcoming update. Keep an eye out for updates in Toontrack Product Manager. Thanks for your patience.
