So I bought EZDrummer on a recommendation from a trusted friend. I know next to nothing about drum emulation software. I came from using Hydrogen where your own patterns and songs are written from the ground up. I love it dearly, but it’s so buggy and unreliable. I’m not asking for a refund or anything, but could someone point me to the software that I’m looking for. I want a product that’s self contained and gives me more freedom than “drag and drop from these popular beats” and “click the mouse in time” options. I’m not dogging on the software, because it’s probably fantastic if you’re more familiar with that method of drum programming and the sound quality blows hydrogen out of the water, but it is definitely not for me. If someone could point me in the right direction I’ll give you the pinkie off my picking hand and my first born son. If this is the inappropriate place to be bringing such concerns, I’m sorry. If I had the social adeptness to know where to ask this, I’d probably be jamming with a real drummer.
