Is there an easy way to find a song block in the browser from a DAW copy?

So, I’ve got a song where I dragged blocks from EZD2 into Pro Tools and now I want to find out which Pack/Song/etc they came from in my EZD library – is there an easy way? Right now, I’m just trying to rebuild it in the Tap2Play window, but that’s a bit tedious…

Hi,

if you have the files still on your EZDrummer 2 Song Track, you just right-click them and ‘Show in Browser’.

If not, you can record the MIDI back to your Song Track from Pro Tools by clicking the Rec button in EZD2 and then play in Pro Tools.

Then make cuts where you suspect the part boundaries should be and then right-click and ‘Search with Tap2Find’. If it’s not too modified, the result at the top should be your original MIDI.
