Is there a way of hitting a drum with both sticks at the same time?

hello, Hope you’re all well, I have a question relating to EZ drummer 3. I apologize in advance because I don’t quite know the technical term but it’s when you hit a drum with both sticks at the same time( The snare for example). I’ve been looking to do it in the grid editor for some time now but I can’t figure out how to, I know there probably is a way of doing it, Is it in the articulations menu?

Do mean a flam? The two hits are a split-second between them. I don’t know of any EZD expansion that have them. You need only to put two quick events in the Editor. Superior Drummer and at least some SD expansions have flams.

In addition to the two quick events, you should vary the articulations and the velocity as drummers do not hit in the same spot with the same amount of force on both sticks.

Despite the available articulations in Superior Drummer, I prefer to program flams (and various rudiments) into the grid editor manually as they can be tailored to the song.
