Is there a limitation in EZ Drummer Demo that prevents it from using full screen

I’m running the latest version of 64 bit Windows 10 with 2 monitors. One monitor is 2560 x 1440 and the other is 3840 x 2160 with 150% scaling. On either monitor EZ Drummer uses only a small portion of the window, noticeably less than 50% of vertical and horizontal resolution.  The full screen control in the upper right hand corner is grayed out.  There seems to be no way around the small size as EZ Drummer demo doesn’t resize when changing the Windows scaling. Is there a problem with my installation, is this a limitation of the demo or is this normal? At this size it wouldn’t be usable for me. Is this a limitation of Superior Drummer also? I can’t believe that this is a fundamental limitation of what otherwise appears to be a very good product.

Hi,

 

EZdrummer 2 and its demo are built on an older plugin architecture, so they are not resizable. Superior Drummer 3 has a resizable interface.

Thanks for your response. This is good enough reason to purchase Superior Drummer, especially with the additional capability of Superior Drummer. Glad Toontracks went to a modern software architecture in their latest product. Hope to see this architecture supported in a new version of EZ Drummer.

I’m testing the trial version of ezdrummer3

Are there any kind of limitations on using the ezdrummer3 as a virtual instruments in Reason11.

I’m unable to get thing going. The instrument does not appear in the instrument browser.

Does Reason 11 support VST3? VST3 support is required in the host DAW to use EZD3.
