I’m still running windows 7 and I will not be moving to windows 10. Being that microsoft’s priorities and ethics have moved away from my own, I have been looking at linux as an alternative os for a daw os and all other uses. I have been running linux part-time, and after learning my way around over the last few years, I have seen that linux is perfectly usable as a daw os. Ezdrummer will run there in wine. And at least 4 commercial daws are already supporting linux: Ardour, Bitwig, Reaper (in the works), and Traktion. But we still need linux native plugins for best performance and reliability. And linux has alot going on for it as a daw os, such as jack as a system audio patchbay, session managers, and the many tweaks that can be made to linux for daw use.
Have there been any statements made on future linux support by Toontrack?
