Is it possible to trigger groove player tracks via MIDI?

Is it possible to trigger SD3 groove player tracks via [external] MIDI, and if so, how?

It would be great if it were possible to use the new MIDI trigger regions feature in Dorico 5 to trigger grooves in SD3. I did several searches and couldn’t find anything.

If it’s not possible, then I’d love to see it in the future. Steinberg wants Dorico users to use Groove Agent SE, of course, but I have a considerable investment in the SD3 ecosystem.
