With the First Bar setting on 0 shouldn’t SD3 play bar 0 when my host (protools) plays bar 0?
If i set it to 1 then it follows correctly to my host at bar 1. When I set it to 0 it actually advances it latter by a bar, not the other way around, meaning bar 1 now plays when the host protools is at bar 2. This seems like its backwards, and doesn’t help what i believe is the point of bar 0 which is to add a leading hit etc before bar 1. ezbass has the same issue.
thanks
It’s working as intended, it just changes what the first bar is “called” in the plug, how it is numbered. It doesn’t change that the first bar in the plug is synced to the first bar in the host, the second to the second, etc. In some hosts, the first bar is called bar 0 (or has an option for it), and this setting in SD3/EZbass is just a way to get the bar numbers to match what the host shows in those cases.
