Using an iPad with a USB C cable to MIDI interface – a midiplus2x2 – midi is working, but no matter how I try I cannot map the pads on this app to drums. I see the notes, set the individual pads to those notes – it plays something in the kit, but not what it’s supposed to. This is a real basic midi pad app. It just will not map. Any ideas? Thanks. Running as a VST in Reaper.

    Hi there,

Before getting too much into the technical aspects, have you tried connecting directly to EZDrummer standalone? Just trying to simplify where the problem is.

What iPad app are you using?

In addition to Brad, are you able to record a MIDI track in Reaper using your iPad.

As well if you are seeing incorrect notes, it’s possible that you are transmitting in the wrong octave
