Hi there, I have never used any drum programs, just tracked them… also I’m not a drummer. I love the sound of the Southern Soul set, and was wondering if I buy midi packs if I can use those midi grooves with that set? If so, which midi packs best compliment Southern Soul? Thanks!

Hi, Great kit and probably the one I use the most. You can pretty much use any midi groove pack with any kit. As for best that compliments, hopefully someone can provide that answer. I use it for Indie Rock/70’s type stuff so.. the Rock/Blues midi ones as a base then I edit in my DAW.

Yeah, the MIDI packs will play pretty much with any MIDI drum kit available.
