I have for the most part gotten the hang of assigning most instruments on my large kit. However, what I have found to be the most annoying and challenging is cymbals. For the most part, the ride and my china have been fine by default but some of the crashes and splash I have to use the midi mapping to select the correct crash/splash sound. However on some presets, some of the cymbals are showing (not loaded) next to them. How do I ‘Load’ those sounds? I feel like I had that figured out a few months ago shortly after I had purchased SD3 but can’t for the life of me remember.
Just Right-Click (I don’t know how to do it on a Mac) on one of the empty cymbal images (or other vacant slots) and take it from there. You can choose any of the ones on the list that shows up, or search all your SDX libraries and audition them to choose from there.
Cubase Pro, Korg Kronos, M-50, Hammond XK-1c, Toontrack SD3, EZBass w/lots of expansions, many VSL Vi's, Shreddage 3 everything, and shit-tons of FX plugins.
WHAT doesn’t work? If it’s Mac’s instructions, then yes they do. Please be more specific.
