Installing to an external ssd drive

During install, it asks where to install the sound libraries. If I install them to an external ssd, where does the actual plug in get installed to? Is that installed to the ssd as well? I’m also installing ez keys and ez mix, do they get installed the same as ez drummer in regards to the ssd? Thank you.

I make the assumption you running a single bootable system.

The VST2 plug-in would be installed in Macintosh HD\Library\Audio\Plug-ins\VST
AU plug-in would be installed in Macintosh HD\Library\Audio\Plug-ins\Components
AAX plug-in would be installed in Macintosh HD\Library\Application Support\Avid\Audio\Plug-ins\

The standalone applications, (Superior Drummer 3, EZKeys, EZDrummer 2, etc) which call the VST plug-in (I believe) are located in Macintosh HD\Applications

EZMix is different as it has no sound library.
