Hi there
Am about to finally pull the trigger on upgrading to Superior 3.
Currently, I have Superior 2, EZ Drummer, midi-pack, SDXs, etc etc on an external HDD.
I know that when I install Superior 3, it will look for all my SDXs etc, import them and them update them to work with Superior 3.
However, I am about to install an external SSD for my big instruments like Omnisphere, Komplete, etc. including Superior 3.
My questions is:
Will Superior 3 be able to automatically import all the SDX’s etc if I install it on a different drive than Superior 2 and all the rest.
Will it look for all my add-ons no matter where they reside on my system and bring them in to Superior 3?
Thanks,
Danny B
You can install any SDX anywhere so long as you point SD3/2 to it afterwards. So it will see them Yes, but not automatically look for them its a simple but manual process.
SD3 doesn’t update older SDXor EZX, but via PM, you will see what you have to update , i remember i had to do all of mine. I think its mainly for the graphics but the libraries will not just work or look for stuff it needs some encouragement.
