Hi guys,
I am using EZdrummer2 and have bought the Rock! expansion which came on a DVD. I followed instructions and installed it. I was never once asked for the serial number. When I run EXdrummer2 I can see a few (though hopefully not all) of the midi files but can’t access any new sounds. The only options I have are modern and vintage libraries. When checking for updates I can see that it knows I have the library installed as it finds an available update. I don’t see that update on the actual update page and the site seems unaware that I have the expansion installed. I have tried the registration code in the register/download box but it doesn’t do anything. Any ideas would be really great.
Thanks,
Barney
You should register the serial number to your Toontrack account. You will then have access to download the update. Your account won’t know what you have installed without you telling it.

Thank you for the reply. How do I do that? I’ve tried entering it into the serial number box on the register my product page and it fails every time. Is there something else I should be doing first?
Can you send me a pic of the serial number from the box/receipt? Send it to scott (@) toontrack (dot) com.

Hi Scott,
Well, I managed to register the product, not sure what happened the first few times, but it is now showing in my list of products. I still can’t see any of the drum kits in ezdrummer2, my only options being modern and vintage still. In the ‘about sound libraries’ section it does recognize that I have the latest version, which is good, I just can’t select the sounds.
Thanks for your help,
Barney
Can you post a pic of the EZD2 interface with the orange library menu expanded? Like this:

Sorry, I’m not sure how to do that.
The good news is that Rock has now started appearing in that menu. When expanded it gives the options of Basic, Bright ambient and Original Mix. The kit I’m particularly interested in is ‘Woody’, that doesn’t appear in the list. How would I select the kit I want to use? It doesn’t appear when I cycle through the options.
Thanks
Barney
