I installed the library on an Apple silicon MacBook Pro with superior drummer 3 and an external SSD drive.
Superior drummer 3 is fine on its own, but when I launch superior drummer 3 from Logic’s input, it does not recognize the path to the library and displays the message ‘not installed’.
when I reset the library path in the settings, the library will be specified for the moment. If I restart Logic and start up superior drummer 3. again from input, it repeats that it cannot find the library.
When I install the library on my MacBook, it starts up fine when I launch it from input in Logic.
If anyone knows how to solve this problem, please advise.
Thanks
Hi,
I suspect this has to do with the privacy settings, that Logic has not been given permissions to access external disks. Go to System Preferences > Security & Privacy > Privacy > Files and Folders. Locate Logic Pro in the list. Does it have “Removable volumes” unchecked?

hi,
Thanks for the advice.
I’ll check the privacy permissions right away.
Thanks
As you suggested, I had not given Logic > External Disk permissions in the privacy settings in the Macbook settings.
I set the permissions and that solved the problem.
Thank you very much.

Thanked by: Olof HermanssonHello,
I’m curious how you set the privacy permissions. I attempted to do that and was was unable to activate the “+” in the Privacy window. I even called Apple and talked with a Senior Advisor who admitted she did not how to do so either. Please le me know the steps you took in doing so. Thanks!
