Installing EZD on new computer

1. Do I have to first install EZD1 then the EZD2 cross-grade?
2. Do I have to load all the CD’s then since the original computer crashed and is DOA?
3. I’m still working through the authorization issue [reading the FAQ/Support answer] since I’ve run into the “Computer ID” issue that won’t let me past that screen.

1. No. You can install the EZD2 full installer and then the update. You should also have a Pop/Rock EZX product in My Products in your Toontrack account. This is the library and MIDI from EZD1. You should install, update, and authorize that so you’ll have access to that library in the EZD2 interface. You should also have the Cocktail EZX under your EZD1 product page. Install that and the update of you want it.

2. No. Install from the full product installers for your EZdrummer products.

Scott – got EZD2 to load and fire up, thanks.

But I can’t get Pop/Rock or any of my expansion packs to download. It’s like they’re not available to click on? When I click on the download button on any of them they close down and nothing happens?
