Hi
I installed the EZDrummer2 upgrade in the 32-bit version today. After I’ve installed everything I sadly realized I can run it in 64bit as well. So I installed the 64bit version upgrade (without uninstall the 32-bit version upgrade) but was not sure about the path I have to choose during the installation so I used the default. Now EZDrummer shows me warnings that I have installed the 32-bit version when I try to replace some crashed, rides or whatever. That’s pretty annyoing and I really can’t find a solution on here. To be true, I didn’t clicked through all topics.
I use Windows 7 with Cubase 5.
Please help.

Installing the 64-bit version of EZD2 will only add the 64-bit plugin version. It won’t change anything about the 32-bit version.
Loading the Progressive EZX is of course possible. It won’t change anything about the amount of RAM used.
I have no idea about Cubase 5 or how else to tell if it’s 32-bit or not. Well, if it’s installed in Windows Program Files location, it is the 64-bit version. If it’s in the Program Files (x86) location, it’s the 32-bit version.

I finally checked if I installed the cubsase 32-bit or 64-bit version. As you wrote in you last answer I definitely installed the 32-bit version then. The installation is in Program Files (x86) sadly. I really wish to use the Progressive EZX with all its glory. So my question is, can I install the 64-bit version of cubase 5 aftrerwards without demaging any of my many old projects? To be clear, I don’t use any other instruments as the one from Toontrack. I know this is not a 100% toontrack relevant question but I really want to use Progressive EZX in full size. And are 8GB RAM (its a i7) enough or would I be confronted with major problems then?
You can load Cubase projects made in 32-bit Cubase in 64-bit Cubase. 8gb of RAM should be fine.
