Latest updates installed.
i9-64gb 2019 imac – SD3 V.3.2.0 OSX 10.15.6
After I installed the new LEGACY I have no audio in stand-alone SD3 at all. None. Any pack I test. Even the metronome test in settings… nothing. All other system audio plays fine. Tidal, Spotify etc.. so I know the audio is working proper. Just in SD3 now. I don’t know if this is from the latest update or this new Sd3 as I don’t remember if I tried it in standalone after. so…
In daw, Logic, it all works fine but I’ve noticed it’s kind of laggy-ish lately (No other tracks or plugins). I did go back to the normal color profile in OSX after the last update. It seemed ok.
IDK!??
What audio interface are you using?
Mac Studio M1 Max, RAM 64 GB, 1TB Drive, OSX 12.x/13.x and Windows 10 (VM)
DAW: Studio One Pro (always up to date)
DTX Express III (Extreme triggers), Nektar LX88
OWC Thunderbay Mini (4 X 1TB Sata SSD), Express 4M2 (4 X 2TB M.2 SSD), Envoy Express (1TB M.2 SSD)
Presonus Quantum, Faderport & Faderport 8
Black Lion Sparrow Mk2 A/D, FMR-RNP-RNC, MIDI Xpress 128, BM5A, KRK VXT4, Equator D5
2020 Macbook Pro 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD Audio(mobile rig)
Damn I found the issue. Spoke too soon. It reset the audio interface for some reason to something of nonsense. I just mis-read it and missed it the first check. The midi is still correct. Thanks for the help.
Kind of a hail mary pass, but perhaps try downloading just SD3 plugin and reinstalling? Never mind…. solved…

Just as I figured… had that once on an update that affected all my software instruments.
Computers gotta love ’em… can’t play SD3 without ’em. 😀
