Hey guys.
Had a question. I need the .dll file to end up somewhere specific to get my DAW (samplitude) to recognize EZD 2. Didn’t know that until too late and I just read that if you manually move the .dll file, you’re screwed for future updating. Does anyone know if I might have to reinstall? Maybe a work-around?
Thanks all.
Your DAW (don’t know which that is) should have a way to set multiple paths to VSTs. Set a new path to where the EZD .dll is located.

HI Scott, and everyone,
I have a similar problem but cannot use the set path option.
I had EZ2 dll installed in a Cubase 7 VST folder, and I have Cubase 8 installed now.(Cubase 8 cannot find it, because it is in CB7 folder))
It is not advisable to have Cubase 8 look into Cubase 7 folders, because many of the Steinberg Cubase VST’s are in there as well (older versions (CB 7vs CB 8)) and It will cause CB8 problems/”confusion” with multiple folders with the same VST names in them.
I wish someone would say “NEVER INSTALL 3RD PARTY PLUG-INS IN YOUR HOST VST FOLDER”, as this would prevent these kinds of problems.
…anyway…do I need to Uninstall my TT plug ins , and re- install them in a Toontrack VST folder ( I will then tell CB8 to look there).
Please note that I have all my sounds/samples on a separate drive, so I really don’t want to remove or re-install them.
Please advise me on what to do to get the DLL in the right place.
Thanks.
