Install plugin only

I already have the sound library installed on an external drive. Is it possible to download just the plugin and re-link to the library?

The Hansa library is massive so I would like to avoid having to download in full again.

Yes. You can just install the S3 plugin and then set the paths to the libraries. See this section of the manual to set the paths.

This issue I have is from PM the only option is to re-download the whole Hansa pack 121gb.

How do I get SD3 to see the Hansa pack? I have the full pack in a folder – where should I place the folder to allow SD3 to then open the Hansa pack?

In the link in my post, it shows how to set the path to a sound library in S3.

Is the library installed on your computer or external HD? If so, you should just be able to follow the steps in the manual (see link above) to set the path to the library.

If you just downloaded the files but didn’t install them yet, please run the installer from Product Manager and tell the installer where you want the files installed (external drive or wherever). Then set the path in S3 to the install location you chose when you installed.

If I’m not understanding your particular situation, can you provide more details?
