This didn’t used to happen before I recently updated to the latest SD version…
Every time I want to remove a MIDI note or song track region in the Superior Drummer plugin, instead of removing the desired object, it just deletes the entire Logic channel strip. Thankfully, I am able to ‘undo’ within Logic and get it back, but it sure does get my heart racing every time it happens.
How can I prevent this from happening please? The only way I can delete anything in SD is by right clicking and manually clicking ‘remove’, which is a pretty frustrating workflow.
I’m using Logic Pro X, running High Sierra 10.13.6.
Logic key commands enforces precedence over plug-ins. And if you have a track selected with the Arrange window active, it will delete the whatever is in that track. That’s pretty much how Logic has worked for years. You would pretty much have to disable or change the command in the Arrange window, which is possible.

I understand this, but I have always been able to use backspace to remove regions from Superior Drummer. Only since the update have I not…
It’s not the updates. I’m always using updated versions of both SD3 and Logic. It has always been this way with Logic. You were probably lucky and didn’t have the arrange window or the track active at the time.

It works for me in the latest version of Logic. Is “Enable keyboard shortcuts in DAWs” on in SD3 Settings > Keyboard Shortcuts?
