In Tracker, Media could not be decoded

Using drag n drop or entering filename “hats.wav” I get an error, “…\Media\hats.wave could not be decoded.”

 

Any thoughts?

Sure, here it is…t’was just a rough input so I could try out the convert to midi function.

 

 

Tried zipping it…but the forum software says the file is too big to post.

Since you’re using studio one, try copying and paste part of it to another track, making it smaller.

Tried a snare sample/groove from a sound module I have to audio in Studio one and then into SD3 and it worked ok.
