I have a ton of drum loops that I want to make sound better with my Metal Foundry Superior 2 sounds. I just bought Drumtracker this morning and am ready to go. I opened up my wav but when I convert it and open in Reaper(with Superior/EZ Player loaded)the MIDI file is empty. Obviously I am not doing something wrong. I keep getting a “One or more of your instruments is not defined” message when I click convert.
My wav’s are not one hits, they are double bass loops with HiHats, snare, kick….some have crash cymbals, some have Chinas. They are like 30 second loops, real good ones, just want a more realistic sound.
So…..in simple terms, can some one explain the process in Drumtracker as far as how I map it out, convert it? I use Reaper to run Superior in. I am new to Drumtracker. I just need a step by step simple explanation if no ones would mind.
Well,
by your post above, it really looks as you should read the manual to understand the basics first.
Otherwise it will be hard to guide you and take far more time.
Give the manual a go and then post back if there’s anything we can straighten out.
Best Regards,
John
