Same issue here trying to update the basic sound library to 1.2.0. I just updated SD3 to 3.2.1. Can anyone give some guidance?

    Hi,

    please try the following:

    1. in the PM, select Library Part 1 > Show Details > Installation Info
    2. in the small drop-down menu right next to the Library path, select ‘Clear Path’
    3. Close the PM
    4. Open SD3 standalone and go into Settings > Libraries/Paths… and click ‘Add Library Path(s)…’
    5. navigate into your ‘SL-SuperiorDrummer3’ folder and click Open
    6. Close SD3 and Open the PM and now try to run the update

    BR,
    John

    Hi,

I just wanted to check something as I have a related issue with installing the library part 2 ‘room mics’. I am using Toontrack project manager and I am downloading and installing everything onto an external hard drive. The hard drive is brand new and has 2tb of space- it only has the SD3 stuff I have managed to download and instal so far (so plenty of space on it!)

After I click to install product and click update within the library part installer, the installation update gets to 3/4 and then just freezes and won’t progress to the end. It doesn’t come up with any error message but this has often made Toontrack product manager crash as well. Can I use the same method here to try and fix my issue? I’m getting a bit desperate and tired of trying to instal it 100s of times.

Hi I’m having this same issue with the update button being greyed out; I don’t know what PM means so I don’t know how to attempt this fix. Please advise, thank you!

It’s the program manager. The software where you install sd3 from and authorise it.

SD3 with older sdx,s plus Rooms of Hansa and Death & Darkness. Cubase and wavelab current versions. Roland TD50x using all trigger inputs for triggering SD3 only. Windows 11 computer. Various keyboards and outboard gear as well as VST instruments. Acoustic drums: Yamaha 9000 natural wood and Pearl masters. Various snare drums. RME BabyFace Pro FS and Adam A7X monitors

Thanks, just had this issue and finally found this fix which worked.

BTW, can’t see any release notes for sound library and core midi pack v1.3 but assume it’s better

The Superior Drummer 3 library update includes some sample, preset and other minor configuration fixes.

The MIDI update included a fix to Note Off messages that could affect a newer sound library and potentially other new sound libraries going forward.
