I have figured out how to get the MIDI files onto my iPad via Cubasis (add through iTunes) but they are mapped wrong (e.g. what should be the kick is a woodblock or something). Anyone have an easy way to remap them? Or maybe another program that would import them correctly like maybe Beatmaker 2?
I know I can remap with MIDI Bridge but it would take some work and I thought maybe someone else already had a solution.
Of course, the sounds will not be as good but this is just for demo purposes. I’ll move the MIDI back onto the laptop where I’ll have all those beautiful samples again when it’s time to start getting more serious.
Current workaround: mix down the drums on Cubase (on laptop) and then import into the iPad’ with Cubasis. This involves sampling and assembling the track on the laptop, though, and I want to be able to just play and experiment on my iPad…
