importing midi files

in the event that i would like to import other symbol crashes, snare hits etc. how do i import new midi files and add them to my existing ezdrummer program/drum tracks? Where is a good place to get these files? Some of my symbol crashes when I add them sound weak and thin, how can I add some punch and bring up volume? please explain in detail. thnx . mac g5, pro tools 7.4.2, LE ezd

Hi,
A good place to start is by reading up on midi editing in your Pro Tools user manual.
Adding notes (to play cymbal crashes or snares etc) is easy in Pro Tools, so is changing velocity to make those sounds louder.
This is all the domain of Pro Tools and it’s midi editing environment.
