Someone recently shared a custom preset for the Made of Metal expansion for EZD 2 with me. It customizes the default Supra Star preset by combining different components of other kits. My question is, how do I import this text file to get it to work with my Ezdrummer? I can’t figure it out for the life of me. I’ve tried various things with no luck. I own all the necessary kits that are used here, just thought it would be easy to upload this. Below is the snapshot of the text file.

Hi,
while the most convenient way would be to share the preset file itself, I just tried this and it seems to work:
1) Select the above text and Copy it
2) In EZdrummer 2, scroll down to ‘User Presets’ in the presets list and then select ‘Manage in Finder/Explorer’
(If you do not have any User Presets, just Save one with whatever is loaded and name it e.g. ‘Test’)
3) Duplicate one of the existing User Presets and open it. Select all and Paste. Save, close and rename this file in the Finder/Explorer without file extension, just like the other User Presets.
4) Rescan your User Presets. Now it should work.
BR,
John
