    Hi,

User Instruments are not tied to a library, so no. How do you add them? You can click the ‘Add Instrument button and go directly to ‘User Instruments’ or right-click an Instrument and go ‘More > User Instruments’ to replace.

Isn’t that pretty straight forward? How would you prefer it?

    BR,
    John

Thank you John for your reply.

I use a lot of one shot samples in my production so it would be nice if I could search for the sounds that I needed.

For example, if I made 50 different snares, it would be great if I could search for the snare by name versus having to drill down and click through a menu.
It sounds minor, but having a search functionality is a huge time saver  and helps with my own creative flow.

Is the drill down using the menu the only way to add previously created user instruments?

    Thank you in advance

SD3 most defiantly needs MPC/Maschine workflow improvements.

No it doesn’t. Knowing the difference between MPC/Maschine and SD3 will help you get the most of both worlds.
