Import Stand-alone preset to plug-in

Is it possible to import a saved preset from standalone, to an instance of ez drummer or ez keys in DAW?

I often spitball in garage band, or standalone on laptop, then wanna take it into protools studio. I’m hip to exporting midi, which is cool, but it’d be even cooler if I could import all the settings, kit variations, etc…Laptop is high Sierra, and tower is Yosemite.

also…is it at all possible to export plug-in preset from garage band? The file extension I get trying to export plug-in setting from garage band is .aupreset.

Hi,

if you save a Project from the EZdrummer 2 or EZkeys Menu, it can be opened in a plug-in instance loaded in a DAW from the same menu.
If you save a library preset in either one, it will be available under User Presets in all versions of the plug-ins when that library is loaded.

Host presets will not translate, i.e. if you save a Preset in e.g. Logic or Garageband, it will not open in Pro Tools or the standalone apps.
Do you understand the difference?
